The Milesight SG50-PN:45W is a robust 8-channel Outdoor LoRaWAN AU915/AS923 IoT gateway. Adopting the SX1302 chip and a high-performance quad-core CPU, the SG50 supports connection with more than 2000 nodes. It also has line of sight up to 15 km and can cover about 2 km in urban environments, which is ideally suited to smart buildings, smart industries and many other remote outdoor applications. The SG50 supports not only multiple back-haul backups with Cellular and Wi-Fi, but also has integrated mainstream network servers (such as TTI, ChirpStack, etc.), and a built-in network server and Milesight IoT Cloud for easy deployment. These gateways are also compatible with Scopious IoT.

SG50 uses a 45W standard solar panel to capture solar energy, simultaneously powering the device and recharging the internal battery in ample sunlight. It dynamically adjusts the charging current according to battery temperature to optimize solar energy usage and extend battery life.
